PRINCIPLE :
 Quick time is a global test to mesure activity of extrinsic coagulation factors (factors II, Vll, V and X). The principal consist to measure the clotting time of the patient's plasma and to compare it with that of a normal human plasma in presence of excess calcium and tissular thromboplastin.

 REAGENT :
 Dissolve a vial of the Calcium Thromboplastin reagent in a vial of solvant. Swirl gently in order to obtain a homogeneous suspension.

| Â STORAGE ANDÂ STABILITY :
- Freeze-dried : The reagents are stable until the expiry date indicated, when stored at 2-8°C. - Reconstituted : - 30 days at +4°C - 8 hours at 37°C Do not freeze the reagent.

 SAMPLE COLLECTION :
 Blood (9 vol) is collected in trisodium citrate anticoagulant (1 vol). Centrifuge blood sample for 10 minutes at 2500 g or allow to sediment. Test must be done within 6 hours after sample collection.
